You’ll fit right in.
When Katie Potter wrote her first book in sixth grade, she knew she’d found her thing.
Katie grew up to study Creative Writing and Media Arts at the University of North Texas. She went on to serve as a science educator for the Perot Museum of Nature and Science and the Dallas Zoo, so it tracks that her writing is rooted in her passion for natural history and conservation. She wants to write inclusive stories that inspire all kinds of young adults to find wonder outdoors.
When she isn’t swapping rough drafts with her writing friends, Katie is probably drawing, fossil hunting, or watching scary movies with her husband.
